Congratulations to Christine Lee and Jordyn Pedersen on their fabulous results from yesterday's event finals at the Pacific Rim Championships!!
Christine, competing against current world champion Jordyn Weiber, continued her medal haul with a silver on beam second only to Kyla Ross of the USl! Floor finals saw Christine up against Lauren Mitchell, Jordyn Weiber and team mate Victoria Moors. I haven't been able to locate the video but I am guessing it was a wonderful routine as she claimed the silver on floor just behind Weiber!! She was also just .100 out of a bronze medal on bars and had to settle for 4th!
In only her second meet back from injury Jordyn qualified for 2 event finals!!! She was 5th on vault and 7th on bars!!
It's been a great weekend for our Oakville athletes and the Canadian Women's team!!!
