Hello Everyone........
Lots of exciting events coming up for all our competitive athletes!
This weekend, Tour Selection in Mississauga. Good Luck to Lianne Girard, competing in her first level 9 meet! Also Tiffany Membrere, competing in her first level 7 meet. All the best to them and their coach, Ashley Sportun!
Also competing is our National girl's, all 15 of them!
Leading our Novice girl's is Jordyn Pedersen, Elise Bolger and Annie Sheridan. Joining them for the first time, breaking into the Novice National category is Mariana Colussi-Pelaez, Taylor Davison and Sydney Davison.
Leading our High Performance Juniors is Mikaela Gerber. Joining her for the first time in the Junior category is Sabrina Gill, Silvia Colussi-Pelaez, and Bianca Jordaan.
Our Open girl's fighting for a spot to California, Nikki Paterson, Tedra Bolger, and new to our club this year is Krishna Yemany.
Also, new to our club, competing in the High Performance Senior Category, are Jessica Savona and Jessica Dowling.

Reminder to check your notice about training changes this week due to our National team training camp held in our gym!

Our Provincial Girl's will have their 1st Provincial Qualifier in Burlington Nov.27th - 29th!!!

Oakville Gymnastics Club is proud to host Elite Canada this year. December 10th - 13th. We will have approximately 12 girl's from Oakville competing in that.

Our annual Christmas Party is held Thursday December 3rd!!!

Best of Luck to all our hard working girl's over the next few weeks! They have all worked so hard to get this far, all the coaches can't wait to watch them shine at their meets this year, keep up the great work girl's!

Happy New Year!!!

Hope everyone has enjoyed the holidays, with some well deserved rest and family time!

Oakville girl's went out of 2008 with a BANG!!! Our 1st Provincial qualifier was a huge success by not only the athletes but also all the parent volunteers who dedicated so much of their time to make it great! Thanks!

Next Qualifier, Kingston January 30th!

Our girl's at Elite Canada were the talk of the "stands"
Their incredible results, confidence and poise blew everyone away, including their coaches!
First year Junior High-Performance, Michaela Gerber was 4th AA in an extremely tough category. Her strongest event was floor with a siver medal!

Our Novice girl's were amazing with all five of them finishing in the top 19, with 40 girl's fighting for top 20 High-Perforance status.
Sabrina Gill was crowned all -round Champion taking the Gold on Beam and Bronze on Bars & Floor.
Jordyn Pedersen finished a strong 4th AA , while finishing top 8 on each event.
First year Novice competitors, Elise Bolger finished 14th AA
Ashley Nelson finished 16th AA
Annie Sheridan finished 19th AA
All five girl's have been named High-Perforance for the 2009 season and have earned a ticket to compete at National Championships. This will take place this year in Ontario in Hamilton the first week of June!
Congratulations girl's, we are so proud of all of you!

Oakville is proud to be hosting our 1st Provincial Qualifier this weekend. This is the first time the woman's program has hosted a meet at our new facility. Good Luck to all our Provincial athletes competing this weekend, we will be there to cheer you on!!!

Congratulations!!!

Congratulations to all our athletes who competed at Tour Selection, WOW, it was so nice to see all those new Oakville tracksuits march in at once! Our Provincial and National girl's did an outstanding job while qualifying a total of 6 athletes to Magical Classic in Florida and Wild Rose in Edmonton. We also get to send a coach! Awesome job girl's, Oakville is very proud!!!

Also congratulations to Michaela Gerber and Sabrina Gill who did an outstanding job at their first International competition in France at Massilia Cup!!! Way to go!!!

Hello everyone!
Sorry it's been so long, blaming it on the baby!
Anderson Kelly Manjak was born on October 9th at 8pds. 5ons. he is a real blessing and we are so happy he has arrived. Thank you so much to everyone for all the special gifts, we appreciate your kindness and generosity.

I will try to keep updating this blog with general information as much as possible!

Good-Luck to all our athletes competing this weekend at Tour Selection in Mississauga, we, the coaches wish you a successful and safe competition!
Also Good-Luck to Micheala Gerber and Sabrina Gill who are off to France this weekend with coach Kelly. We are very proud of them in their first International assignment for Gymnastics Canada. We wish them also a successful and safe competition!


Next week, there will be NO MORNING TRAINING!!! while Kelly is away. Training will be available from 3-8pm! Except Wednesday starts at 4pm!
